Step into the world of artisan soapmaking at Soap Night, a hands-on workshop hosted by Figaro Forge in Steelton, PA. This beginner-friendly experience is part of our ongoing Soap Knight Workshop Series, designed for anyone who wants to learn, create, and enjoy the craft in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
During the workshop, participants will create a 2 lb cold process soap loaf, yielding approximately 6–8 bars of handmade soap. Each soap loaf can be made individually or shared by a couple, making Soap Night a great option for a creative date night, a night out with friends, or a unique hands-on experience.
All materials, tools, fragrances, and colorants are provided, and no prior soapmaking experience is required. You’ll be guided through every step of the process — from blending oils and lye to selecting fragrances and swirling mica colors — by our instructors in a safe, easy-to-follow format inspired by our Soap Knight aesthetic.
For each Soap Night, we curate a rotating selection of fragrance options and color choices, allowing every workshop to feel fresh and unique while still being beginner-friendly. Participants may also create their own custom scent blend during the class.
After the workshop, your soap loaf will remain on-site to cure. Participants are invited to return on the following Monday to cut their loaf using our professional soap cutter and take their finished bars home.
