What You’ll Make

Each project creates one approximately 2 lb artisan cold process soap loaf, usually enough for about 10–12 full-size bars after cutting. You will mix, pour, swirl, and decorate your loaf while learning the basics of the cold process method.

What’s Included

No experience is needed. Figaro Forge provides the ingredients, safety equipment, instruction, and step-by-step guidance. Each event listing explains the scent and design choices available for that class.

This is real soapmaking from scratch—not a melt-and-pour class. Seasonal workshops may use prepared melt-and-pour embeds as decorative elements, but participants still make a true cold process loaf.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can two people work on one project?

Yes. Two people may share one loaf. Tell us how many people will attend during checkout so we can prepare enough seating.

Can I use the soap immediately?

No. Cold process soap needs time to firm up, be cut, and finish curing before use. Cutting, pickup, and curing instructions are provided at the workshop.

Where are classes held?

Figaro Forge hosts workshops across the greater Harrisburg area, including New Cumberland, Lemoyne, Steelton, and the West Shore, convenient to Hershey, Hummelstown, Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg, York, Lancaster, Lebanon, and nearby Central Pennsylvania communities.
