Halloween & Fall Soapmaking Workshop at Creative Spark Arts — October 10, 2026

Join Figaro Forge at Creative Spark Arts for a special Halloween and fall edition of our hands-on cold process soapmaking workshop. You’ll make a full 2 lb artisan soap loaf from scratch using one of four seasonal recipes created and tested especially for these classes.

Choose the recipe that fits your style, then make it your own with personalized colors and your choice of the Halloween or fall embeds available during the workshop. Your loaf can be spooky, warm and autumnal, elegant, or completely your own.

Choose Your Seasonal Recipe

• Hexed Timber — A dark, woodsy blend of patchouli, cedar, warm spice, and balsamic notes with a faint touch of fruit and vanilla.
• Harvest After Dark — Spiced pumpkin and autumn fruit wrapped in warm woods, creamy amber, sandalwood, and a touch of patchouli.
• Nightshade Veil — A mysterious blend of bright bergamot, soft florals, sandalwood, cedar, musk, and smooth vanilla.
• Harvest King’s Feast — A warm pumpkin-pie-inspired blend of baked pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, buttery pastry, and vanilla.

Each recipe has a pre-tested fragrance, a suggested color palette, and a recommended overall design. The suggested colors are only a starting point—you’re welcome to change them, choose from the seasonal embeds prepared for the workshop, and arrange your toppers in your own way.

Fragrances stay paired with their tested recipes so each batch behaves predictably during class. Your creativity comes through in the colors, embeds, and final design.

Halloween and Fall Details

Seasonal elements may include moons, cats, stars, pumpkins, ghosts, tombstones, coffins, and other Halloween or autumn-inspired shapes. The exact selection will depend on the embeds prepared for the workshop.

Some recipes may use melt-and-pour soap embeds inside the loaf so the design appears throughout the cut bars, while smaller embeds may be used as decorative toppers.

What You’ll Make

Each project creates one approximately 2 lb artisan cold process soap loaf, which can usually be cut into around 10–12 full-size bars after it firms up. This is real soapmaking—not melt and pour—although some seasonal designs may include pre-made soap embeds.

No experience is needed. Figaro Forge provides the ingredients, mold, seasonal design materials, safety equipment, instruction, and guidance throughout the entire process.

Priced Per Project—Not Per Person

Registration is priced per soap loaf rather than per participant. Two people may share one loaf, making this a great option for date night, friends’ night, a parent-and-child activity, family time, or a creative seasonal outing.

Please tell us how many people will attend in the order notes during checkout so we can prepare enough seating.

Recommended for ages 10 and older. Any participating minor must remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parent or guardian throughout the workshop.

Cutting and Pickup

Because this is real cold process soap, the loaf needs time to firm up before it can be removed from the mold and cut. Participants will return approximately two days later to cut their loaf into individual bars. Final cutting and pickup instructions will be provided during the workshop.

After cutting, the bars will need several weeks to finish curing before use.

What to Wear

Soapmaking can get a little messy. Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Aprons, gloves, and safety glasses will be provided.
